    Reading Lately, Volume 2

Perhaps it’s the former English major in me, but I’ve been struck with both the desire to write and the desire to surround myself with good writing lately. Here are my favorite books and my kids’ favorite books from the last few weeks! I’m a brand partner with PaperPie and an affiliate with Bookshop.org. I earn a commission from any books you choose to buy through my links to those websites. (Clicking on the book titles in this post will take you to those links.) I promise to share our favorites! Even though our trip was a couple years ago, much of our magical Disney World trip is still fresh on my mind. My husband and I knew we wanted to take a babymoon trip, but honestly we were a little hesitant at first to try visiting Disney World while I was pregnant.…

    Books I Read in June

Last week I talked about the board books my son has been loving lately, but this week I want to share the what I read in June! These are the sort of posts that make me so glad I decided to move away from this being a food blog and to focus on motherhood instead. (Don’t get me wrong though–the recipes are still here and in my husband’s opinion, they’re still good! I think this sparkling blueberry lemonade might be just the right treat to accompany your summer reading.) Not every book I share will be directly related to motherhood, but some will be!
