Recipes for Cold Winter Nights

It’s a little risky for me to type a blog post like this one right now.

If you live in Tennessee, you know that seasons here tend to be a little fickle. We joke that we can go from sunny and 60 to rainy and 30 in a matter of about 3 days. That’s Tennessee winter/spring for you.

Keep that in mind if, when this post goes live in a few days, it doesn’t feel relevant anymore.

I’m feeling pretty cold as I write this today, so I’m just going to risk it and type this up for you. The thermostat says it’s 70 degrees in the house, but my bones just feel cold, ya know?

When that in-the-bones kind of cold creeps in, sometimes I feel like the only solution is to combat it with hot comfort foods like soups and curries. And goodness knows I have plenty of soup and curry recipes on this site!

I’ll keep this post brief so I can share some links to hot comfort food and you can get started as soon as possible. Here you go!

Chipotle Beef Chili

Cilantro Lime Chicken Soup

Red Curry with Veggies

Green Curry with Chicken

Vegan Palak Paneer

Curried Butternut Squash Soup

Southwestern Veggie Chili

Crockpot Cabbage Soup
